There is no better — or more British — holiday treat than sticky toffee pudding: warm, soft cake flavored with sweet, dried fruits and a gooey toffee sauce. The thing is, we like creamy butterscotch sauce more — it’s smoother, more spoonable, and doesn’t turn hard like traditional toffee. We also prefer the ease of baking over the traditional steamed pudding, but otherwise this cozy dessert has everything you’d expect from the Great British Bake-Off.
